Eggless Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups of milk or half-and-half
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 ˝ cups white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method:

  • Puree strawberries in a blender or food processor.
  • In a separate bowl mix the remaining ingredients together until sugar is dissolved. Add the strawberry puree and mix well.
  • Pour into ice trays and freeze for two hours or until frozen solid.
  • Remove frozen cream from the ice trays and place in a food processor or a blender. Pulse until creamy.
  • For firmer ice cream, transfer the ice cream to a freezer safe container and freeze for at least 30 more minutes or until the ice cream reaches your desired consistency. ENJOY!
