PUSU Supports UIET students
The Panjab University Student Union (PUSU), one of the students’ outfits on the Panjab University (PU) campus, staged a protest on Wednesday in front of the Vice-Chancellor's office highlighting the demands of the students studying in the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET).

The protest took place under the leadership of party president Yadwinder Singh Dhaliwal and campus president Sumit Goklaney. The students demanded enhancing of timings of the library to 8 pm, installation of microphones in the lecture halls and classrooms and wi-fi routers on UIET campus. Director, UIET, Dr Renu Vig gave a positive response and assured fulfillment of the demands.
