Chandigarh is day-by-day turning a not so safe place for the women. Recently, a middle-aged man was arrested for sexually harassing a woman at a community park. The incident took place in sector 39, Chandigarh.
The arrested man has been identified as Anil, who is a resident of Sector 39. The man has been alleged of following a woman and passing remarks. When the woman objected he sexually harassed her. The woman then raised an alarm and soon the onlookers nabbed the accused and handed him over to the police.
The menace of eve-teasing is growing at a rapid pace in the City. It is high time, and the authorities should take a stance against it.
